SafePath - Travel the Safest Way Across New Delhi
SafePath is a free web app that finds the safest route between two points in New Delhi. Instead of optimising only for speed, it scores every walking, cycling and driving route against live crime data and crime-hotzone clusters, then highlights the path with the lowest danger index so you can avoid risky areas.
How SafePath works
Enter a starting point and a destination. SafePath requests route alternatives, measures how close each one passes to known crime hot-zones across Delhi localities, and ranks them safest first - green for the safest route, through to red for the riskiest. You can open the chosen route directly in Google Maps for turn-by-turn navigation. SafePath is especially useful for women's safety, late-night travel, and anyone new to a Delhi neighbourhood who wants to understand which areas to avoid before setting out.
